Ian McIntire

Ian McIntire is a Colorado REALTOR® with West + Main Homes, helping buyers, sellers, and investors make informed, confident real estate decisions. With more than a decade of hands-on experience purchasing, renovating, operating, and selling properties across Denver, Summit County, and Hawaii, Ian brings both practical insight and a strong analytical perspective to every transaction.

His real estate experience spans primary residences, investment properties, and short-term rentals, along with a range of financing strategies, including FHA, conventional, DSCR, and interest-only loans. Whether he is helping someone purchase their first home, sell and move into their next chapter, or evaluate an investment opportunity, Ian focuses on clear communication, thoughtful analysis, and making the process feel manageable.

Before moving into real estate full-time, Ian spent 17 years in education as a teacher and school leader, including three years as a high school principal. That experience strengthened the collaborative, detail-oriented, and people-first approach he now brings to his clients.

Ian lives in Golden with his wife and three children and is passionate about helping people find a home—and a community—that fits the life they want to build. Outside of real estate, he enjoys exploring Colorado’s mountains, cycling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
